Thunderbird leaders leave

It looks like both of Thunderbird’s core developers, Scott MacGregor and David Bienvenu, leave the Mozilla Corporation just after the creation of the new Thunderbird Mail Corporation.
This is strange, and I don’t really see them abandoning their “baby”. I smell a non-corporate-backed fork soon, bringing in fresh blood to our “competition”! ;-)

I wish them good luck for the future.

I thought for a moment, “what if they join this project”, but that thought quickly faded out. I would rather see them create a real competetion than anything bloating claw.

Anonymous: I don’t think they’d do that. Thunderbird and Claws Mail have different goals, and appeal to different people :)
